The Black McDonald's Owners Association (BMOA) of Houston proudly presents the Future Leaders Scholarship, a distinguished initiative dedicated to championing the brilliance of students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Conceived to draw out creativity and critical thinking in a succinct three-sentence reflection on one's leadership journey, this scholarship stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to the advancement and empowerment of young leaders in our community. Through this visionary approach, we not only acknowledge the transformative role of HBCUs in fostering tomorrow's leaders but also ensure an equitable platform for students from all backgrounds to voice their dreams and convictions.


How to Apply 

  1. Eligibility: Ensure you are a currently enrolled student attending an HBCU.

  2. Submit Your Application:

    • Complete the brief questionnaire.

    • Write and submit a three-sentence essay detailing your vision of yourself as a future leader. Note: Essays longer than three sentences will be disqualified.

  3. Await Notification: Once your application and essay have been reviewed by the BMOA scholarship committee, successful candidates will be notified via email. Make sure your contact details are accurate and current to ensure smooth communication.
